Omschrijving
Ned. Herv. KERK. Van zijn oude koorsluiting beroofd romanogotisch kerkje, deels op overwelving aangelegd, thans door een houten tongewelf gedekt. Boven de westelijke gevel een 18e eeuwse dakruiter, waarin klok van Eppe van der Arck, 1653, diam. 75 cm. Het schip is gedekt door Romaanse pannen. Tegen de noordgevel de gevelbekroning van de voorm. pastorie te Hiaure met gebeeldhouwde aanzetkrullen en gezwenkte bekroning; in het veld wapens, een rijmpje en anno 1751. Boven de zoldering van het schip balken op gesneden sleutelstukken. In en bij de kerk een rijk gebeeldhouwde zerk Aylva-Unia uit 1565 door Mr B.G., twee 17e eeuwse zerken en bij de kosterswoning een zerk uit 1644.

Description
Reformed Church. Romanesque-Gothic small church bereft of its old choir closure, partly built on vaulting, now covered by a wooden barrel vault. Above the western facade an 18th-century roof turret, in which a bell by Eppe van der Arck, 1653, diam. 75 cm. The nave is covered by Romanesque tiles. Against the north facade the cornice crown of the former parsonage at Hiaure with sculpted corbel scrolls and swept cornice; in the field coats of arms, a rhyme and anno 1751. Above the ceiling of the nave beams on carved keystones. In and by the church a richly sculpted tombstone Aylva-Unia from 1565 by Mr B.G., two 17th-century tombstones and by the sexton's house a tombstone from 1644.
