Mooi in het weide- en natuurgebied ten zuidwesten van Koudum gelegen "Amerikaanse" windroos of windmotor. Naar Amerikaans model ontstane windmolen van het type "Hercules Metallicus", uit Duitsland geimporteerd door de Rotterdamse handelmaatschappij R.S. Stokvis & Zonen en begin 20e eeuw voor het voormalige waterschap "Ymedaem" (thans "Tusken Mar en Klif) geplaatst aan het op de Morra uitwaterende Jan Broerskanaal.
Windmotor met gegalvaniseerde ijzeren wieken en vanen en automatische regeling naar windrichting en windsterkte; dertig bladen tellend windrad met een diameter van 12 meter en een dubbel staartwerk; stalen toren met podium op onderbouw in metselwerk en beton; stalen vijzel met bak; uitschotbak, bemalingskolk; schuiven en aan beide zijden bedijkte uitwateringssloot met duiker.
Vroeg-20e-eeuwse "Amerikaanse windmotor" van algemeen cultuurhistorisch en industrieel-archeologische belang:

Beautifully situated in the meadow and nature reserve to the southwest of Koudum "American" wind pump or wind motor. Wind mill of the "Hercules Metallicus" type, created according to the American model, imported from Germany by the Rotterdam trading company R.S.
