Inleiding
VISSERSWONING, blijkens de in hout aangebrachte inscriptie boven de inpandige toegangsdeur, gebouwd in 1716. De detaillering is overwegend 19de-eeuws. Het snijwerk van de deuromlijsting is verwant aan dat van het nabijgelegen 'Zuiderzeestadje' Hindeloopen. Het pandje is mooi gelegen aan de rand van het beschermde dorpsgezicht Molkwerum en grenst aan de landerijen.
Omschrijving
Sobere woning, opgetrokken uit rode baksteen en gedekt door een met rode Friese pannen belegd vrij steil opgaand schilddak; goot op klosjes; schoorsteen aan voorzijde; gepleisterde plint. Zesruits schuiframen en vierruits raampjes. Later aangebouwd houten hok op bakstenen plint en onder rode pannen). Oorspronkelijke PLATTGROND. In het INTERIEUR zijn onder meer van belang: de houten zoldering met gedisselde balken, de lichte houten kapconstructie, de eenvoudige 19de-eeuwse bedsteden- en kastenwand, de 19de-eeuwse houten schouwpartij met snijwerk en betegeling, de dubbele houten toegangsdeur met hardstenen drempel en deuromlijsting met gesneden accoladeboog en inscripties J. FISHERMAN'S DWELLING, as evidenced by the inscription in wood above the internal entrance door, built in 1716. The detailing is predominantly 19th-century.
