Paaltjasker "Vesuvius", gebouwd aan het einde van de 19e eeuw voor Gerrit Baron en Hendrik Schurer door molenbouwer R.W. Dijksma uit Giethoorn ten behoeve van de verveenderij in de omgeving van Elsloo. De tjasker is gerestaureerd in 1977-1978 en bevindt zich thans in het natuurgebied De Stobbepoel in het buurtschap Tronde nabij Elsloo.
Eenvoudig te demonteren en te verplaatsen houten poldermolentje, bestaande uit een (oudhollands opgehekt) wiekenkruis met vaste borden (vlucht 5 meter) en een houten ton met vijzel, die beide op dezelfde as zijn gemonteerd; de vijzelton wordt rechtstreeks door windkracht aangedreven, dus zonder tussenkomst van een gaand werk, en is gelagerd in een houten raam dat zodanig op een door schoren gesteunde houten paal (molenpaal) is gemonteerd, dat de tjasker vrij op de wind door de maalkom of buitenste ringsloot kan bewegen. Het opgemalen water wordt via de binnenste ringsloot afgevoerd. Gedurende het winterseizoen is de tjasker opgeslagen in een naburige boerderij.

Description
Paaltjasker "Vesuvius", built at the end of the 19th century for Gerrit Baron and Hendrik Schurer by millwright R.W. Dijksma from Giethoorn for the peat extraction works in the vicinity of Elsloo. The tjasker was restored in 1977-1978 and is now located in the nature reserve De Stobbepoel in the hamlet of Tronde near Elsloo.
Simple to dismantle and relocate wooden polder mill, consisting of an (old Dutch thatched) sail-cross with fixed boards (span 5 metres) and a wooden screw-cylinder with screw, which are both mounted on the same axis; the screw-cylinder is driven directly by wind power, thus without the intervention of a gear mechanism, and is mounted in a wooden frame that is mounted on a wooden pole (mill pole) braced in such a way that the tjasker can move freely with the wind through the mill bowl or outer ring ditch. The pumped water is drained via the inner ring ditch. During the winter season the tjasker is stored in a neighbouring farm.
