Omschrijving
Franciscanenkerk en klooster, gelegen op een omgracht terrein waar vroeger de Aldenborch van de graven van Horn stond. Laatgotische kloosterkerk, die niet georienteerd is, bestaande uit een diep op het noorden gericht koor, een dwarsarm en een schip met zijbeuk. Rijke inventaris o.a.: oksaal, altaren, orgel, XVII, preekstoel, XVIII. Tegen de koorsluiting aangebouwd een kapel, 1652. Kloostergebouwen XVII-XVIII, o.a. hoofdgebouw, losse zijvleugel, kloosterpoort tussen twee huisjes, XVII. Klokkenstoel met gelui bestaande uit een klok van een anonieme gieter, 1668, diam. 65 cm, een klok van P. de Clerck, 1641, diam. 35 cm en een klok van een onbekende gieter uit 1559. In de tuin een combinatie van drie verschillend georiënteerde zonnewij-zers.

Description
Franciscan church and monastery, located on a moated site where formerly stood the Aldenborch of the counts of Horn. Late-Gothic monastic church, which is not oriented to the east, consisting of a choir directed deeply to the north, a transept and a nave with side aisle. Rich inventory including: rood loft, altars, organ, 17th century, pulpit, 18th century. Against the choir closing built a chapel, 1652. Monastic buildings 17th-18th centuries, including main building, detached side wing, monastery gate between two small houses, 17th century. Bell cote with bells consisting of a bell by an anonymous founder, 1668, diam. 65 cm, a bell by P. de Clerck, 1641, diam. 35 cm and a bell by an unknown founder from 1559. In the garden a combination of three differently oriented sundials.
