Pand van het in het noorden van Noord-Holland gebruikelijke boerderij-type bestaande uit een stelpvormige schuur aan een zijde afgeknot en met planken en riet beschoten. Voor de schuur een laag woongedeelte met riet gedekt. Plaatselijk bekend als Baanhuis, waarschijnlijk naar aanleiding van de in de eerste helft der 18e eeuw bestaande spinbaan.

Description
Building of the farmhouse type common in the north of Noord-Holland consisting of a timber-frame barn with one side cut off and covered with boards and thatch. In front of the barn a low dwelling section covered with thatch. Locally known as Baanhuis, probably in reference to the spinning mill that existed there in the first half of the 18th century.
