Omschrijving
Herv. kerk (H. Antonius). Reeds in 1235 als parochiekerk vermeld. In de vijftiende eeuw herbouwd als eenbeukige kerk tegen oudere toren (XIV), welke verhoogd werd omstreeks 1500. In dezelfde tijd moet het schip zijn uitgebreid met een noordelijke zijbeuk en werd een 3/8 gesloten koor opgetrokken. Verbouwing in 1831, waarbij de noorderzijbeuk werd gemoderniseerd en de triomfboog van het koor gesloopt. Restauratie 1896-'99 en nogmaals ca. 1954. De kerk bezit: twee grafzerken (1556 en 1557); drie zandstenen basreliëfs (XVI) in het koor: Geboorte van Christus, een alliantiewapen en een met opschrift (1955). Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Bovenwerk, in 1834 gemaakt door N.A. Lohman en Zonen. In 1982 gerestaureerd door de Gebr. Reil. Mechanisch torenuurwerk B. Eijsbouts, Asten, nr. 224, is in onderdelen met de stoel nog aanwezig bij de gemeente Vorden.

Description
Reformed church (St. Antonius). Already mentioned in 1235 as a parish church. In the fifteenth century rebuilt as a single-aisle church against an older tower (XIV), which was raised around 1500. At the same time the nave must have been extended with a northern side aisle and a 3/8 closed choir was erected. Alteration in 1831, whereby the northern side aisle was modernised and the chancel arch of the choir demolished. Restoration 1896-'99 and again c. 1954. The church possesses: two grave stones (1556 and 1557); three sandstone bas-reliefs (XVI) in the choir: Birth of Christ, an alliance coat of arms and one with inscription (1955). Organ with Great and Positive divisions, made in 1834 by N.A. Lohman and Zonen. In 1982 restored by Gebr. Reil. Mechanical tower clock B. Eijsbouts, Asten, no. 224, is present in parts with the frame still with the municipality of Vorden.
