Omschrijving
Op het terrein van het Huis "Middendorp" aan de Vliet een laat 18e eeuws speelhuis. Gepleisterd rechthoekig gebouwtje onder met pannen gedekt tentdak. Vensters met zes- en negenruitsschuiframen. In de naar de Vliet gekeerde gevel een steen met het opschrift "Middendorp". Het pandje is het enige overgeblevene van een tweetal speelhuizen, met een kaatsbaan bij het logement "Oranjezaal", dat in 1789 in het huis Middeldorp werd gevestigd en tot 1862 als zodanig bleef bestaan.

Description

The little building is the only remaining one of two gaming houses, with a ball court at the lodge "Oranjezaal", which was established in the house Middendorp in 1789 and remained as such until 1862.
