Huis Middendorp. Gepleisterd huis, bestaande uit twee vleugels met verdieping en schilddaken op L-vormige plattegrond, ontstaan door samentrekking in het midden der 17e eeuw van drie laat-middeleeuwse panden. Van 1789-1862 in gebruik als Logement de Oranjezaal" met twee speelhuizen en een kaatsbaan. De lijstgevels aan de Kerkstraat en aan de zijde van de Vliet vertonen thans een vroeg 19e eeuws uiterlijk met houten kroonlijsten, vensters met zes- en vierruitsschuiframen en deuren in eenvoudige omlijstingen met bovenlicht en hoofdgestel. Het hoge schilddak over de vleugel aan de Kerkstraat bezit twee dakkapellen en eindigt aan de noordzijde tegen een puntgevel. Tegen de achterzijde van deze vleugel een korte, iets hogere vleugel onder schilddak en met vensters waarin een verdeling met kleine roeden. Beide hoofdvleugels hebben aan de achterzijde 18e eeuwse aanbouwen onder lessenaarsdaken. In de zuidelijke aanbouw een gesneden Lodewijk XVI-DEUR. Inwendig zijn van de laat-middeleeuwse toestand o.m. bewaard gebleven een moerbalk met 16e eeuws peerkraalsleutelstuk, de kapconstructies en een kelder met ronde pijler, voorzien van een achthoekige dekplaat, waarop vier kruisribgewelven samenwonen. Voorts bezit het huis o.m. een gang met marmervloer en een schouw met Lodewijk XVI-STUCWERK. Voor het pand, aan de Kerkstraat, twee vazen (1866). Voor de zijdeur twee kleine pijlers, eveneens met zinken siervazen.

Description
House Middendorp. Plastered house, consisting of two wings with storey and hipped roofs on an L-shaped plan, created by compression in the mid-17th century of three late medieval buildings. From 1789-1862 in use as Logement de Oranjezaal" with two gaming houses and a ball court. The cornice-topped facades on the Kerkstraat and on the side of the Vliet now display an early 19th century appearance with wooden cornices, windows with six- and four-paned sash windows and doors in simple surrounds with fanlight and main cornice. The high hipped roof over the wing on the Kerkstraat has two roof dormers and ends on the north side against a pointed gable. Against the rear of this wing a short, slightly higher wing under hipped roof and with windows with a division in small glazing bars. Both main wings have 18th century extensions on the rear under lean-to roofs. In the southern extension a carved Louis XVI door. Internally from the late medieval state have been preserved, among others, a collar beam with 16th century pear-bead key stone, the roof truss structures and a cellar with round pillar, provided with an octagonal lid, on which four cross-ribbed vaults meet. Furthermore the house possesses, among others, a corridor with marble floor and a fireplace with Louis XVI stucco work. In front of the building, on the Kerkstraat, two vases (1866). In front of the side door two small pillars, likewise with zinc ornamental vases.
