Omschrijving
Eenvoudig schooltje, uit de tweede helft van de negentiende eeuw, vermoedelijk 1876, dat als rijksschool bekend stond om haar goede voorzieningen en leermiddelen. Bakstenen gebouw op rechthoekige plattegrond, gedekt door aan gangzijde verlengd met pannen belegd zadeldak. Vensters met roede-verdeling en siermetselwerk in de spaarvelden. Boven de houten paneeldeuren van de ingang siermetselwerk en drie langwerpige rondboogvensters. Twee dakkapellen. Windveren langs de geveltoppen. Gebouw behorende tot de kolonie-gebouwen van de Maatschappij van Weldadigheid. Description
Simple schoolhouse, from the second half of the nineteenth century, presumably 1876, which was known as a state school for its good facilities and teaching materials. Brick building on rectangular plan, covered by a gabled roof lined with tiles and extended on the passage side. Windows with glazing bars and ornamental brickwork in the spandrels. Above the wooden panel doors of the entrance ornamental brickwork and three elongated round-arched windows. Two roof dormers. Weather vanes along the gable tops. Building belonging to the colony buildings of the Maatschappij van Weldadigheid.
