Segment van verdedigingswerk vesting Gorinchem, deel uitmakend van de Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. Het werk bestaat uit een aanleg van aardwerken en gracht.
De aanleg vormt een onderdeel van de westzuidwestelijke verdedigingswal van Gorinchem en omvat de courtine tussen bastion III en bastion IV en voorliggende natte gracht (thans gedeelte van vluchthaven).

Segment of defensive work of fortification Gorinchem, part of the New Holland Water Line. The work consists of an installation of earthworks and moat.
The installation forms part of the west-south-west defensive wall of Gorinchem and comprises the curtain between bastion III and bastion IV and adjoining wet moat (now part of refuge harbour).
