GEERTEKERK. Driebeukige bakstenen kruiskerk daterend midden 13e eeuw. Geertetoren met ondiepe spitsboognissen, lisenen en rondboogfriezen. Koor en dwarsschip sober opgetrokken begin 14e eeuw, zijbeuken in 15e eeuw toegevoegd aan weerszijden van een ouder tufstenen schip. In 1855 ingrijpend gerestaureerd, in 1957 hersteld. a. Hoofdorgel. Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Bovenwerk, in 1804 gemaakt door J.S. Strumphler gemaakt voor de Doopsgezinde Kerk te De Rijp. In 1957 overgeplaatst naar Utrecht en gerestaureerd door de firma Van Vulpen. In 1988 opnieuw gerestaureerd door dezelfde firma. b. Kabinetorgel, in 1765 gemaakt door D. Onderhorst. Klokkenstoel met gelui bestaande uit een klok van S. GEERTEKERK. Three-aisled brick cruciform church dating from mid-13th century. Geerterkerk tower with shallow pointed-arch recesses, pilaster strips and round-arch friezes. Choir and transept soberly constructed early 14th century, side aisles added in 15th century on both sides of an older tufa stone nave. Extensively restored in 1855, restored in 1957. a. Main organ. Organ with Great Work and Upper Work, made in 1804 by J.S. Strumphler made for the Anabaptist Church at De Rijp. In 1957 moved to Utrecht and restored by the firm Van Vulpen. In 1988 restored again by the same firm. b. Cabinet organ, made in 1765 by D. Onderhorst. Bell frame with carillon consisting of a bell by S. Butendiic, 1477, diam. 124.5 cm and a bell by G. van Wou, 1506, diam. 99 cm. Early 18th-century mechanical clock-work with striking mechanism by anonymous maker.
