Uit 1844 daterende, ronde, bakstenen VUURTOREN naar ontwerp van J. Valk; gebouwd op fundament van uit 1617 daterende vuurtoren.
De toren is 13.90 m. hoog, is gecementeerd en wit geschilderd en heeft 4 verdiepingen. Het uit 1901 daterende gietijzeren lichthuis - met koperen koepel en, voorzien van omloop met balustrade - is waarschijnlijk vervaardigd door de gieterij Reineveld te Delft. In de toren enige rondboogvensters. Staafankers.
Gebouw van algemeen belang wegens oudheidkundige waarden en uit oogpunt van geschiedenis der technische ontwikkelingen.

Dating from 1844, a round brick LIGHTHOUSE designed by J. Valk; built on the foundation of a lighthouse dating from 1617.
The tower is 13.90 m. high, is cemented and painted white and has 4 storeys. The cast-iron lantern room dating from 1901 - with copper dome and provided with a walkway with balustrade - was probably manufactured by the foundry Reineveld at Delft. In the tower some round-arched windows. Rod anchors.
