Naar eclectisch ontwerp van D.E.L. van den Arend in 1876 gebouwde KERK voor de Evangelische Broedergemeente, opgetrokken in baksteen op hardstenen sokkel met, ter contrast, witgepleisterde en -gestucte onderdelen.
De recht afgesloten zaalkerk wordt overdekt door een pannen zadeldak dat aan de voorzijde aan het oog wordt onttrokken door de attieken te weerszijden van de ojiefvormig beëindigde middenpartij met fioelvormige bekroning. De verder met hoek- en middenpilasters en boogfriezen opgesmukte voorgevel bevat de hoofdingang in het midden, voorzien van dubbele paneeldeuren met driepasmotief, een gestucte boognis met de naam van de kerk - Evangelische Broedergemeente - in vergulde letters, en een geprofileerde omlijsting, alsmede drie rondboogvensters met oorspronkelijke onderverdeling en geprofileerde omlijsting met kapiteeltjes.
De linkerzijgevel bevat vier soortgelijke rondboogvensters en voorts twee steunberen. De gedeeltelijk door de belendende pastorie begrensde rechterzijgevel bezit in het vrijstaande gedeelte twee soortgelijke rondboogvensters. Voorts resteert nog het - mogelijk pas in een later stadium witgeverfde - houten meubilair volgens oorspronkelijk bankenplan, alsmede de op een twee treden tellende verhoging staande preekstoel aan de koorzijde, en twee - oorspronkelijk voor gasverlichting bestemde - achtarmige bronzen kroonluchters, opgehangen aan de trekstangen, alle uit de bouwtijd.
De in het midden naar voren uitgebouwde gaanderij met balustrade en kroonlijst aan de portaalzijde bevat in de noordoosthoek een uit 1923 daterend door K.P. van Ingen gebouwd orgel van ondergeschikt belang.

Description
CHURCH built for the Evangelical Brethren Community according to an eclectic design by D.E.L. van den Arend in 1876, constructed in brick on a stone base with, by contrast, white-rendered and -stuccoed sections.
The straight-ended hall church is covered by a tile saddle roof which at the front is hidden from view by attics on either side of the ogee-shaped central section with finial-shaped crown. The further façade decorated with corner and centre pilasters and arch friezes contains the main entrance in the centre, provided with double panelled doors with three-cusped arch motif, a stuccoed arch niche with the name of the church - Evangelical Brethren Community - in gilded letters, and a moulded surround, as well as three round arch windows with original glazing and moulded surround with capitals.
The left side façade contains four similar round arch windows and furthermore two buttresses. The right side façade, partly bounded by the adjoining parsonage, has two similar round arch windows in the free-standing section. The rear façade crowned by a pointed top is, with the exception of the rose window in the centre, blank.
Interiorly the white-stuccoed church space is covered by a depressed barrel vault with a rose-shaped, copper-coloured ventilation grille in the centre. Furthermore there remains - possibly only whitewashed at a later stage - the wooden furnishings according to original bench plan, as well as the pulpit standing on a platform with two steps on the choir side, and two - originally intended for gas lighting - eight-armed bronze chandeliers, hung from the rods, all from the period of construction.
The gallery with balustrade and cornice projecting forward in the centre at the portal side contains in the north-east corner an organ built in 1923 by K.P. van Ingen of subordinate importance.
