Omschrijving
Woning met topgevel en houten voorschot. De pui is grijs gecementeerd en heeft een patroon in blokvoegen. Het bovenlicht van de aan de rechterzijde geplaatste voordeur heeft deels afgeschuinde sponningen met decoratieve, kleine inkepingen. De deur heeft geprofileerde panelen. De groen geverfde houten geveltop is afgezet met witgeschilderde dakranden. Binnen het gevelbeeld van de Herenstraat vervult het pand een geledende, historische en visuele rol.
De plattegrond vertoont een indeling in voor- en achterhuis met tussenmuur en heeft een terzijde gelegen gang in het voorhuis. De verschillende vloerniveaus zijn een gevolg van de ligging op een voormalige dijk en bepalen mede de cultuurhistorische waarde.
De schuur staat in de tuin achter het woonhuis. Hij is in gele baksteen opgetrokken, heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en is gedekt door een rood pannen dak, dat aan de westzijde is afgewolfd en aan de oostzijde een houten, groen geschilderde puntgevel met luik en makelaar heeft. De schuur dateert uit de 18e of 19e eeuw en grenst met de lange zuidgevel aan het Lage Achterom. Op de zuidwest hoek staat een hoge gemetselde schoorsteen. Noord- en zuidgevel zijn voorzien van resp. twee en drie grote muurankers; de schuur is toegankelijk door een deur in de noordgevel. In de oostgevel zijn twee zeer kleine glasruitjes aangebracht, zonder kozijnen, terwijl de zuidgevel blind is; de westgevel heeft een vierkant venster en een groot muuranker.
De schuur herinnert aan de traditionele verbondenheid van de historische huishouding annex bedrijfsvoering met monument 35241, en maakt derhalve functioneel en historisch deel uit van dit monument. Voorts markeert de schuur de erfafscheiding van het naar het Lage Achterom aflopende dijktalud, zijnde de vroegere bebouwingsgrens waardoor sprake is van ruimtelijk-historische waarden.

Description
Dwelling with top gable and wooden front facade. The storefront is grey cemented and has a pattern in block joints. The fanlight of the front door placed on the right side has partly bevelled reveals with decorative small notches. The door has moulded panels. The green-painted wooden gable top is edged with white-painted roof edges. Within the facade arrangement of the Herenstraat, the building fulfils an articulating, historical and visual role.
The plan shows a division into front and rear house with partition wall and has a side corridor in the front house. The various floor levels are a consequence of the location on a former dike and partly determine the cultural-historical value.
The barn stands in the garden behind the residential building. It is constructed of yellow brickwork, has a rectangular plan and is covered by a red tile roof, which is half-hipped on the west side and on the east side has a wooden, green-painted pointed gable with shutter and crowbar. The barn dates from the 18th or 19th century and borders with its long south facade the Lage Achterom. On the southwest corner stands a high masonry chimney. North and south facades are provided respectively with two and three large wall anchors; the barn is accessible through a door in the north facade. In the east facade two very small glass panes are installed without frames, while the south facade is blank; the west facade has a square window and a large wall anchor.
The barn recalls the traditional connection of the historical household and business operations with monument 35241, and thus functionally and historically forms part of this monument. Furthermore, the barn marks the boundary of the estate descending towards the Lage Achterom dike slope, being the former building limit, resulting in spatial-historical values.
