Omschrijving
St. Martinus, 1869-1871, P.J.H. Cuypers. Driebeukige kruisbasiliek, waarvan het schip onvoltooid is gebleven. Rechthoekige pijlers met afgeschuinde hoeken en lijstkapitelen. Triforium en ronde vensters in de lichtbeuk. De transeptgevels zijn opgelost in klimmende reeksen lancetvensters. Kruisribgewelven. De steunberen van de zijbeuken zijn naar binnen gemetseld. Het interieur is als schoonwerk in verschillende kleuren baksteen behandeld en heeft de inrichting door de atelier Cuypers-Stoltzenberg voor een groot deel behouden. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Zwelwerk en vrij Pedaal, in 1891 door de firma Maarschalkerweerd uit Utrecht gemaakt. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, eerste kwart twintigste eeuw, hand en elektrische opwinding mogelijk.

Description
St. Martinus, 1869-1871, P.J.H. Cuypers. Three-aisle cruciform basilica, of which the nave has remained unfinished. Rectangular pillars with chamfered corners and moulded capitals. Triforium and round windows in the clerestory. The transept gables are articulated in ascending series of lancet windows. Ribbed vaults. The buttresses of the side aisles are built inward. The interior is treated as ashlar work in various colours of brick and has largely retained the fittings by the atelier Cuypers-Stoltzenberg. Organ with Great Manual, Swell and free Pedal, made in 1891 by the firm Maarschalkerweerd from Utrecht. Mechanical tower clock, first quarter of the twentieth century, hand and electric winding possible.
