Omschrijving
TUINHUIS BIJ DE GROTE ZWITSERSE BRUG. Houten, aan de voorzijde op de hoeken afgeschuind tuinhuis in de geest van Van Laar's Magazijn van Tuinsieraaden (1802), onder overstekend rieten dak. De voor- en zijwanden zijn voorzien van een decoratieve aftimmering van verticaal, horizontaal en schuin geplaatste stammetjes, terwijl de acht staanders waartussen deze wanden zijn gespannen, alsmede verschillende horizontale lijsten, de daklijst en een spitsboog in de door het dak overhuifde topgevel zijn bekleed met boomschors. Onder genoemde spitsboog bevindt zich een deuropening en te weerszijden daarvan respectievelijk een achthoekige, een spitsbogige (in de afschuining) en een zeshoekige vensteropening (waarschijnlijk gebouwd tegen het midden van de negentiende eeuw).

Description
GARDEN HOUSE BY THE GROOT ZWITSERSE BRUG. Wooden garden house, chamfered at the corners on the front side in the spirit of Van Laar's Magazijn van Tuinsieraaden (1802), under projecting thatched roof. The front and side walls are provided with decorative timber cladding of vertically, horizontally and diagonally placed small logs, whilst the eight posts between which these walls are stretched, as well as various horizontal mouldings, the roof moulding and a pointed arch in the gable end overarched by the roof are clad with tree bark. Below said pointed arch is a door opening and on either side of it respectively an octagonal, a pointed-arched (in the chamfering) and a hexagonal window opening (probably built towards the middle of the nineteenth century).
