CANTINEGEBOUW. Voormalige cantine, gebouwd in 1880 nabij de Promerskazerne. Een rechthoekig gebouw onder een zadeldak, met overstek en geschulpte dakranden tussen puntgevels met boogfriezen en tondo in top; de toegang bevindt zich in het midden van de lange, vijf vensterassen tellende NW-gevel, en is voorzien van dubbele paneeldeuren en een gedeeld, getoogd bovenlicht met smeedijzeren lantaarn terzijde, en te weerszijden getoogde schuifvensters met twaalfruitsroedenverdeling en luiken, evenals in de korte ZW-gevel, zij het gekoppeld en zonder luiken (gebouw P 1).

Description
CANTEEN BUILDING. Former canteen, built in 1880 near the Promerskazerne. A rectangular building under a gabled roof, with overhang and sculpted roof edges between pointed gables with arch friezes and tondo at the apex; the entrance is located in the middle of the long, five-bay northwest facade, and is furnished with double panelled doors and a divided, arched fanlight with wrought-iron lantern to the side, and on either side arched sash windows with twelve-light glazing bars and shutters, as well as in the short southwest gable, albeit coupled and without shutters (building P 1).
