Het in schoon metselwerk opgetrokken MACHINEHUIS zonder verdieping onder met grijze pannen gedekt zadeldak met op de nok twee houten roosterkappen heeft door penanten in drie vakken onderverdeelde gevels met aan de bovenzijde een uitgemetseld fries, dat bij de topgevels trapsgewijs opklimt, en een in blokvorm gepleisterde plint aan de waterzijde (NW- en NO-zijde); in de gevels hoge rechtgesloten vensters met 9-ruits boven- en 4-ruits-onderramen; in de top van de westgevel een gietijzeren roosvenster en een hardstenen gedenksteen.
In het interieur: een met rode en gele, hardgebakken tegels belegde vloer; wanden door penanten in drie velden verdeeld; ziende kap; twee gietijzeren, in 1917 door Gebr. Stork & Co te Hengelo (Ov.) vervaardigde centrifugaalpompen met eenzijdige instroming en twee in 1918 eveneens door Gebr. Stork & Co vervaardigde eencilinder-stoommachines.

Description
The MACHINE HOUSE constructed in fine brickwork without basement under a grey-tiled gabled roof with two wooden ventilation gratings on the ridge has facades divided by pilasters into three bays with at the top an embossed frieze, which climbs in stepped fashion at the gable ends, and a blocky rendered plinth on the water side (NW and NE side); in the facades high closed-top windows with 9-pane upper and 4-pane lower frames; in the top of the west facade a cast-iron ventilation window and a hard stone memorial stone.
In the interior: a floor paved with red and yellow hard-fired tiles; walls divided by pilasters into three fields; scissor-truss roof; two cast-iron centrifugal pumps manufactured in 1917 by Gebr. Stork & Co in Hengelo (Ov.) with single-sided inlet and two single-cylinder steam engines also manufactured in 1918 by Gebr. Stork & Co.
