Omschrijving
Kasteel van Limbricht, met motte en omgrachting. Rechthoekig gebouw van omstreeks 1630 met binnenhof, een rechthoekige toren met knobbelspits op de achtervleugel en een kleine achterwaarts uitgebouwde kapel daarnaast. Tussendorpelvensters van hardsteen. Inwendig onder andere een rijke schouw met zuilen en leeuwenfiguren, tweede kwart zeventiende eeuw, en een schouw, achttiende eeuw, met gebeeldhouwde wangen, tweede kwart zeventiende eeuw. Grote voorburcht in dubbele haakvorm onder een aangesloten doorlopende bedaking en door een gemetselde boogbrug met het hoofdgebouw verbonden, tweede kwart zeventiende eeuw. Boven de toegangspoort aan de veldzijde een barokke omlijsting, waarin vroeger een wapen.

Description
Castle of Limbricht, with motte and moat. Rectangular building of about 1630 with inner courtyard, a rectangular tower with knobbed spire on the rear wing and a small rearward-built chapel beside it. Intermediary sill windows of hardstone. Internally among other things a rich chimney-piece with columns and lion figures, second quarter seventeenth century, and a chimney-piece, eighteenth century, with carved cheeks, second quarter seventeenth century. Large outer ward in double L-shape beneath a connected continuous roofing and connected to the main building by a masoned arched bridge, second quarter seventeenth century. Above the gateway to the field side a Baroque surround, in which formerly an armorial bearing.
