BRUG TUSSEN BASTION EN VOORPLEIN. Boogbrug, opgetrokken van baksteen en voorzien van natuurstenen onderdelen, liggende in de oprijweg.
De in de boogkruin 1673 gedateerde, van ijzeren balusterleuningen voorziene brug is na 1879 ter verhoging van het "verdedigbare" effect ingekort tot enkele meters voor het voorplein; bij die gelegenheid is tussen de boogbrug en het voorplein een houten brug gespannen.

Description
BRIDGE BETWEEN BASTION AND FORECOURT. Arched bridge constructed of brick and provided with natural stone components, lying in the approach road.
The bridge dated 1673 in the arch crown and provided with iron balustrade railings was after 1879 shortened to increase the "defensible" effect to only a few meters before the forecourt; on that occasion a wooden bridge was spanned between the arched bridge and the forecourt.
