Omschrijving
MUUR c.a. VOOR DE OPRIJWEG. Bakstenen muur, enerzijds aansluitend bij de oranjerie en anderzijds bij het Koetsiershuis.
Van deze in oorsprong uit het vierde kwart van de zeventiende eeuw daterende muur heeft slechts een klein gedeelte de oorspronkelijke hoogte behouden; in dit gedeelte een poortje met natuurstenen afdekking en rondbogige doorgang met natuurstenen blokken in de boog; hierboven een bekroning in de vorm van smeedijzeren krullen waarin een bel hangt (eerste kwart twintigste eeuw). Het overige deel van de muur, die door het hoofdinrijhek wordt onderbroken, is in de twintigste eeuw verlaagd tot een basismuurtje, bekroond door een smeedijzeren spijlenhek.

Description
WALL APPROX. BEFORE THE APPROACH ROAD. Brick wall, on one side adjoining the orangery and on the other side the Coachhouse.
Of this wall, originally dating from the fourth quarter of the seventeenth century, only a small section retains its original height; in this section a small gate with natural stone capping and round-arched opening with natural stone blocks in the arch; above this a crowning in the form of wrought-iron scrolls in which a bell hangs (first quarter twentieth century). The remainder of the wall, interrupted by the main entrance gate, was lowered in the twentieth century to a base wall, crowned by a wrought-iron spear gate.
