Omschrijving
MOLEN "de Hoop". Houten standerdmolen, omstreeks 1896 uit Merxem (Belgie) naar Roosendaal overgebracht en opgebouwd aan de Bredaseweg. In 1950 gerestaureerd (oorlogsschade), in 1967 verplaatst naar de Gezellelaan. In 1975 de molenkast gerestaureerd en de dakbedekking van dakleer vervangen door eikehouten schalien.

Description
MILL "de Hoop". Wooden post mill, around 1896 brought from Merxem (Belgium) to Roosendaal and erected on the Bredaseweg. In 1950 restored (war damage), in 1967 moved to the Gezellelaan. In 1975 the mill case restored and the roof covering of tarpaper replaced by oak shingles.
