Omschrijving
Munsterkerk. Laatromaanse basiliek met klaverbladvormige oostelijk partij en een westbouw, gerestaureerd door P.J.H. Cuypers. Inwendig praalgraf van Gerard van Gelre en Margaretha van Brabant XIIIb. Verder o.a. altaarretabel, XVIb, met gesneden middenstuk en geschilderde luiken; stenen Salvatorbeeld; beeld van de H. Bernardus, beeld O.L. Vrouw van Vogelsangh, XIII, Marianum; beeldgroep voorstellend de graflegging van Christus; kruisbeelden; vier evangelistenbeelden van 1850; doopvont, XVIII, ebbenhouten sacramentskastje met zilverbeslag, XVII; kandelaars etc. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, B. Eijsbouts, 1924, later voorzien van elektrische opwinding.
Orgel gemaakt door Gebr. Franssen uit Roermond in 1891, in 1947 gewijzigd en vergroot door de firma Verschueren uit Heijthuijsen. Bij deze uitbreiding is het orgel verplaatst van de noordelijke zijbeuk naar het oksaal aan de westwand van het kerkgebouw waarbij de neogotische orgelkas werd verwijderd en opgeslagen. De uitbreiding van 1947 bezit geen monumentale waarde.

Description
Minster church. Late Romanesque basilica with clover-leaf shaped eastern part and a west building, restored by P.J.H. Cuypers. Internally an ornate tomb of Gerard van Gelre and Margaretha van Brabant, second half of 13th century. Further including: altarpiece, second half of 16th century, with carved central section and painted shutters; stone Salvator figure; figure of Saint Bernardus, figure of O.L. Vrouw van Vogelsangh, 13th century, Marianum; sculptural group depicting the entombment of Christ; crucifixes; four evangelist figures of 1850; baptismal font, 18th century, ebony sacrament cabinet with silver fittings, 17th century; candelabra etc. Mechanical tower clock, B. Eijsbouts, 1924, later provided with electric winding.
Organ made by Gebr. Franssen from Roermond in 1891, modified and enlarged in 1947 by the firm Verschueren from Heijthuijsen. With this expansion the organ was moved from the northern aisle to the choir loft at the western wall of the church building whereby the neo-Gothic organ case was removed and stored. The expansion of 1947 has no monumental value.
