Omschrijving
Voormalige herberg "Koppelpaarden"; in schoon metselwerk opgetrokken pand (laatste kwart 19e eeuw) zonder verdieping onder met blauwe Hollandse pannen gedekt wolfsdak (nok evenwijdig aan de straat) met schoorstenen aan de nokeinden. In de linker zijgevel met gepleisterde plint drie getoogde T-ramen op de begane grond en twee T-ramen op zolderhoogte; geprofileerde gootlijst. De voorgevel heeft een gepleisterde plint met verdiepte velden, hoekpilasters en een middenrisaliet, waarin een (vernieuwde) dubbele deur met getoogd bovenlicht, en met aan weerszijden twee getoogde T-ramen; deur en vensters omsloten door geprofileerde stuclijst met oren en verhoging boven het midden; gevel afgesloten door een - bij de hoekpilasters gekorniste - kroonlijst met consoles, verhoogde omlijste velden en sierlijst langs goot, en boven het middenrisaliet segmentvormig oplopend tegen de dakkapel met getoogd T-raam en bekroond door een getoogde en in het midden verhoogde deklijst, waarop aan beide uiteinden een zittend figuurtje. Eenvoudig, maar relatief zeer rijk gedecoreerd voorbeeld van een laat 19e eeuwse dorpsherberg.

Description
Former inn "Koppelpaarden"; a building constructed in fine brickwork (last quarter of the 19th century) without a storey under a half-hipped roof covered with blue Dutch tiles (ridge parallel to the street) with chimneys at the ridge ends. In the left side gable with plastered plinth three arched T-windows on the ground floor and two T-windows at attic height; profiled gutter moulding. The front gable has a plastered plinth with recessed panels, corner pilasters and a central risalit, in which a (renewed) double door with arched fanlight, and on either side two arched T-windows; door and windows surrounded by profiled stucco moulding with ears and a projection above the centre; gable closed off by a - corniced at the corner pilasters - cornice with consoles, raised framed panels and ornamental moulding along the gutter, and above the central risalit a segmental shaped projection against the roof dormer with arched T-window and crowned by an arched and centrally raised moulding, on which at both ends a seated figure. Simple, but relatively very richly decorated example of a late 19th century village inn.
