Basiliek van de HH. Agatha en Barbara.
Naar het voorbeeld van de St. Pieter te Rome gebouwd, maar op kleinere schaal (Koepelhoogte 68 m.) en in baksteen met toepassing van natuursteen en vooral van pleisterwerk. Uitgevoerd onder leiding van P.J.H. Cuypers in 1865-1880; de voorgevel in 1892, onder leiding van G.J. van Swaay en naar het voorbeeld van de gevel van de St. Jan van het Lateraan te Rome. Altaarretabel en beelden, waaronder de Kerkvaders, door de Antwerpse beeldhouwer Frans de Vriendt. Voor de kerk een gedenkteken, door B. Stracke, 1911, ter herdenking van de Nederlandse pauselijke zouaven, gesneuveld bij de verdediging van de Kerkelijke Staat. Van oorsprong eenklaviers orgel, in 1773 gemaakt door L. Konig. In 1844 gerepareerd en uitgebreid. In 1893 geplaatst in een nieuwe kas en gemaakt tot een tweeklaviers orgel met vrij Pedaal. Bij de laatste restauratie in 1989 is het Konig-pijpwerk (behalve de Trompet) op het Hoofdwerk geplaatst en werd het tweede klavier van Bovenwerk met overwegend 19e eeuws pijpwerk. Het vrije Pedaal werd ter weerszijden van het Hoofdwerk opgesteld. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, B. Eijsbouts, later voorzien van elektrische opwinding.

Basilica of Saints Agatha and Barbara.
Built following the example of St. Peter in Rome, but on a smaller scale (Cupola height 68 m.) and in brick with the application of natural stone and especially of plasterwork. Executed under the direction of P.J.H. Cuypers in 1865-1880; the front facade in 1892, under the direction of G.J. van Swaay and following the example of the facade of St. John Lateran in Rome. Altar retable and statues, including the Church Fathers, by the Antwerp sculptor Frans de Vriendt. In front of the church a memorial, by B. Stracke, 1911, in commemoration of the Dutch papal Zouaves, fallen in the defence of the Papal States. Originally a one-manual organ, made in 1773 by L. Konig. In 1844 repaired and enlarged. In 1893 placed in a new case and made into a two-manual organ with free Pedal. At the last restoration in 1989 the Konig pipework (except the Trumpet) was placed on the Great Work and the second manual of the Swell with predominantly 19th century pipework. The free Pedal was arranged on either side of the Great Work. Mechanical church clock, B. Eijsbouts, later provided with electrical winding.
