Omschrijving
Raadhuis. Rechthoekig bouwwerk 1617-1618, met aan de korte zijden trapgevels en een middentop met in- en uitzwenkende voluten op de naar de Voorstraat gekeerde lange gevel. In het linker deel van de benedenverdieping de natuurstenen poortomlijsting van de vroeger hier gevestigde waag, waarboven een tijdvers. Vensters met geprofileerde en geblokte ontlastingsbogen; ramen met houten kruiskozijnen; sierankers. Gerestaureerd 1938-'39.

Description
Town Hall. Rectangular structure 1617-1618, with stepped gables on the short sides and a central top with inward and outward scrolling volutes on the long façade facing the Voorstraat. In the left part of the ground floor the natural stone door frame of the formerly located weighing house, above which a time verse. Windows with moulded and blocked relieving arches; frames with wooden cross windows; ornamental wall anchors. Restored 1938-'39.
