Negentiende-eeuwse Drentse (voormalige) boerderij met achterbaander onder riet gedekt wolfdak met uilenborden, zesruitsschuifvensters, omlijste paneeldeur met bovenlicht; geprofileerde windveren; vlechtingen; staafankers. Bedrijfsgedeelte nu in gebruik als Openbare Bibliotheek. Haaks aangebouwd grote schuur met onderschoer onder afgewolfd rietgedekt schilddak met rijpannen. Onderlangs zijschilden. Het stookhok werd in 1974 in oude stijl opgetrokken.

Description
Nineteenth-century Drenthe (former) farmhouse with rear dwelling under reed-covered half-hipped roof with owl boards, six-pane sash windows, framed panel door with fanlight; moulded wind braces; woven wattle panels; rod anchors. Commercial section now in use as Public Library. At right angles attached large barn with underpinning under arched reed-covered hipped roof with ridge tiles. Along the lower sides beneath. The stoke-hole was built in 1974 in the old style.
