Omschrijving
BOTERWAAG.
Rechthoekig, van baksteen opgetrokken gebouw met verdieping en hoog zadeldak, afgesloten door topgevels met grote trappen. Gebouwd in 1612 in renaissancevormen, verwant aan de stijl van Hendrik de Keyser; de verdieping aanvankelijk ingericht als hoofdwacht.
Gerestaureerd in 1886, door Ir J.J. Weve, waarbij een 18e eeuwse galerij werd vervangen door een kopie van het oorspronkelijke bordes en de geveltop der westelijke dakkapel, alsmede de oostelijke dakkapel opnieuw werden opgetrokken.
Inwendig over de Vleeshal in het westelijke deel kruisribgewelven op drie zuilen.

Description
BUTTER WEIGHHOUSE.
Rectangular building erected of brick with storey and high gabled roof, closed off by top gables with large steps. Built in 1612 in Renaissance forms, related to the style of Hendrik de Keyser; the storey originally fitted out as a guard house.
Restored in 1886 by Ir J.J. Weve, whereby an 18th century gallery was replaced by a copy of the original dais and the gable top of the western roof dormer, as well as the eastern roof dormer were rebuilt.
Internally over the Meat Hall in the western part cross rib vaults on three columns.
