This new description now reads as follows: Entirely cellared building, consisting of two storeys with a roof. Main structure still 17th-century, composite floor beam layer; beam layer second floor single. Front facade in its present form first half of 19th century, topped with a straight cornice above which a roof dormer with wing pieces. Shop window second half of 19th century. Cellar, covered with a barrel vault, rear section possibly still medieval. Courtyard cellar covered with a barrel vault. Building of importance as an example of a characteristic simple shop-dwelling house situated on the canal with cellar and courtyard cellar.
