Omschrijving
Gepleisterd blokvormig landhuis, blijkens de stichtingssteen in de achtergevel uit 1858. Het in overgangsvormen tussen het neo-classicisme en het eclecticisme opgetrokken gebouw telt een souterrain en een bel-etage en wordt gedekt door een omlopend schilddak, waarin boven de risalerende middenpartijen van de voor- en achtergevels attiekvormige dakkapellen met frontonachtige bekroningen. De middenrisaliet van de naar de Gooweg gekeerde gevel wordt geflankeerd door dubbele Toscaanse pilasters en heeft een getoogde toegangsdeur, waarboven een wapensteen. De vensters hebben ramen met een roedenverdeling uit de bouwtijd. De gevel aan de parkzijde heeft boven de ingang een balkon op voluutconsoles, met smeedijzeren balkonhek. Description
Rendered block-shaped country house, according to the foundation stone in the rear facade from 1858. The building, erected in transitional forms between neo-classicism and eclecticism, has a basement and a principal floor and is covered by a hipped roof running all round, in which above the projecting central sections of the front and rear facades are attic-form roof dormers with pediment-like crownings. The central risalit of the facade facing the Gooweg is flanked by double Tuscan pilasters and has an arched entrance door, above which a coat of arms stone. The windows have glazing bars from the period of construction. The facade on the park side has a balcony on scroll consoles above the entrance, with wrought-iron balcony rail. On either side of the house two sculptured, heraldic lions. In the park a garden sculpture on plinth, 18th century. Furthermore a sundial on natural stone plinth, 18th century.
