Omschrijving
Rijkshulpschutsluis of Spuisluis, gebouwd in 1817, bestaande uit de volgende onderdelen: de Kolk heeft gemetselde bakstenen muren. Het zuidelijk sluishoofd, aan de Lekdijk, is thans afgesloten d.m.v. een betonnen dam tussen de hoofden. Aan de binnenzijde in de uitspringende gedeelten van het sluishoofd hoge, boogvormige poorten, afgesloten door ijzeren regelschuiven. De westelijke poort in het sluishoofd is dichtgemetseld. Aan de noordzijde is de kolk afgesloten door twee houyten puntdeuren, naar de Lekzijde gericht, waarover een bruggetje. De Kom heeft wanden opgebouwd uit natuursteen. Aan beide zijden een naar het water aflopend trapje. Aan de noordzijde van de kom een vaste brug.

Description
Royal auxiliary navigation lock or sluice gate, built in 1817, consisting of the following components: the chamber has masoned brick walls. The southern lock head, on the Lek dike, is now sealed by means of a concrete dam between the heads. On the inside in the projecting sections of the lock head high, arched gates, sealed by iron slide gates. The western gate in the lock head is bricked up. On the north side the chamber is sealed by two wooden pointed gates, facing the Lek side, over which is a small bridge. The basin has walls built up from natural stone. On both sides a small staircase sloping to the water. On the north side of the basin a fixed bridge.
