Omschrijving
Isr.Begraafplaats. Door een bakstenen muur met spaarvelden en ezelsrugafdekking omgeven begraafplaats, toegankelijk door een sobere bakstenen poort, bekroond met siervazen. De begraafplaats is aangelegd in 1640 en uitgebreid in 1642, 1660, 1738 en 1859. Op het oudste gedeelte dat in 1673 van grafstenen ontdaan werd, staan twee marmeren tomben, versierd in Lodewijk XIV-stijl en daterend uit ca.1729. Verder een wit-marmeren zerk, waaronder een Sefardische Jood begraven ligt. Op de begraafplaats verder talrijke 18e eeuwse staande grafstenen met Lodewijk XIV-ornament.

Description
Jewish Cemetery. A cemetery surrounded by a brick wall with spare plots and saddle-back ridge coverings, accessible through a simple brick gate, crowned with ornamental vases. The cemetery was laid out in 1640 and extended in 1642, 1660, 1738 and 1859. On the oldest section which was cleared of gravestones in 1673, stand two marble tombs, decorated in Louis XIV style and dating from c.1729. Furthermore a white-marble gravestone, under which a Sephardic Jew is buried. On the cemetery further numerous 18th-century standing gravestones with Louis XIV ornament.
