V.m. Simpelhuis. Maakte oorspronkelijk deel uit van het Cellebroedersklooster, sinds 1611. Simpelhuis, in 1816 ingericht tot Soepkokerij, als zodanig uitgebreid in 1846 (memoriesteen in gevel Wyngaardstraat) en thans particulier gebouw. Uitwendig onversierd rechthoekig gebouw, herhaaldelijk hersteld, op de hoek Simpelhuisstraat-Wijngaardstraat. Inwendig: drie gotische schouwen en een gotische deuromlijsting, alles XVI.

Description
Cf. Simpelhuis. Originally formed part of the Cellebroeders monastery, since 1611. Simpelhuis, converted in 1816 into a soup kitchen, as such enlarged in 1846 (memorial stone in the Wyngaardstraat facade) and now a private building. Externally an unadorned rectangular building, repeatedly repaired, on the corner of Simpelhuisstraat-Wijngaardstraat. Internally: three Gothic chimneys and a Gothic door surround, all 16th century.
