Omschrijving
Engelse KERK. In 1921 is de Engelse gemeente, die vanaf 1629 het gebouw als kerk benutte, opgeheven. De kerk, die eigendom is van de Nederlands Hervormde gemeente, was oorspronkelijk kapel van het Cellebroedersklooster. Eenvoudige eenbeukige kerk met 3/8 koor- sluiting. Baksteen met toepassing van natuursteen aan de geprofileerde omlijstingen van de hoge puntboogvensters. Poortje met Tudorboog, waarboven waterlijst en drieledig venster, bekroond door een kielboog met kruisbloem. Inwendig: preekstoel XVII B. Eenklaviers orgel, in 1761 gemaakt door G. Stevens.

Description
English CHURCH. In 1921 the English congregation, which from 1629 had used the building as a church, was dissolved. The church, which is the property of the Dutch Reformed congregation, was originally a chapel of the Cellebroeders convent. Simple single-aisle church with 3/8 choir closure. Brickwork with use of natural stone at the moulded frames of the tall pointed arch windows. Small gate with Tudor arch, above which drip moulding and three-part window, crowned by a ogee arch with fleuron. Interior: 17th century second half pulpit. Single-manual organ, made in 1761 by G. Stevens.
