Inleiding
Op de grens met de provincie Limburg (gemeente Meijel) staat een WATERPUT, genaamd de Sint-Willibrordusput die in de kern uit de Middeleeuwen dateert, en in 1899 werd voorzien van een nieuw puthuis. In 1938 werd op de put een borstbeeld van de heilige geplaatst (beeldhouwer G. Gielen). Kort na 1950 is de put van oorlogsschade hersteld.
Omschrijving
Het in plattegrond ronde puthuis is gemetseld in baksteen, voorzien van gepleisterde banden en wordt bekroond door een witgeschilderde, kunststenen, lage spits met het eerder vermelde beeld. Via een klein, concaaf gesmeed, getralied deurtje kan men het nog aanwezige ijzeren putmechaniek met windas bereiken. De wand van de put is met handvorm steen gemetseld. Op de put een plaquette met de tekst: "St. Wilbertsput anno 700-1900".

Introduction
On the border with the province of Limburg (municipality of Meijel) stands a WELL, called the Sint-Willibrordusput which in its core dates from the Middle Ages, and in 1899 was provided with a new well house. In 1938 a bust of the saint was placed on the well (sculptor G. Gielen). Shortly after 1950 the well was restored from war damage.
Description
The well house, which is round in ground plan, is laid in brick, provided with plastered bands and is crowned by a white-painted, artificial stone, low spire with the aforementioned sculpture. Via a small, concavely forged, barred door one can reach the still present iron well mechanism with winch. The wall of the well is laid with handmade brick. On the well a plaque with the text: "St. Wilbertsput anno 700-1900".
