Omschrijving
Gevangentoren. Poorttoren, overgebleven van de vroegere ommuring, uit het midden van de 14e eeuw. Vlakopgaand vierkant bakstenen gebouw, gedekt door een zadeldak tussen trapgevels met schuin afgedekte trappen. In de westwand een schuin toelopende nis met schietgat en in de oostelijke muur sporen van een mezekouw. Gerestaureerd in 1922-1924.

Description
Prison tower. Gate tower, surviving from the former fortification, from the mid-14th century. Flat-pointed square brick building, covered by a saddle roof between stepped gables with sloped covered steps. In the west wall a sloping recessed niche with loophole and in the east wall traces of a machicolation. Restored in 1922-1924.
