Omschrijving
Voormalige synagoge, schilderachtig gelegen; verscholen achter de huizenrij, toegankelijk via een hardstenen trap en een ovaal bordes. Bakstenen, aan de westzijde halfrond gebouw met dakruitertje en rondboogvensters tussen pilasters. Zowel in het oostelijke venster als in het westelijk venster, boven de ingang, zijn de tafelen met de tien geboden opgenomen. Boven de ingang een Hebreeuws opschrift en het jaartal 5611 (d.i. 1851). Neoclassicistisch interieur met pilasters, een kroonlijst met trigliefen. Gebogen vrouwengalerij. Van de arke zijn de beide deuren met Hebreeuwse opschriften nog aanwezig, zij het niet meer op de oorspronkelijke plaats. Boven het oostelijke venster ziet men inwendig een Hebreeuwse tekst (Deuteronomium 10 vers 20). Opgetrokken in de jaren 1851, 1853 naar ontwerp van de bouwmeester J.L. Lemmens uit Beek.

Description
Former synagogue, picturesque situated; concealed behind the row of houses, accessible via a stone stair and an oval platform. Brick, on the west side a semicircular building with a roof turret and semicircular arch windows between pilasters. Both in the eastern window and in the western window, above the entrance, are incorporated the tables with the Ten Commandments. Above the entrance a Hebrew inscription and the date 5611 (i.e. 1851). Neoclassical interior with pilasters, a cornice with triglyphs. Curved women's gallery. Of the ark both doors with Hebrew inscriptions are still present, albeit no longer in their original location. Above the eastern window one sees internally a Hebrew text (Deuteronomy 10 verse 20). Erected in the years 1851, 1853 after design by the master builder J.L. Lemmens from Beek.
