Omschrijving
Refugie van Meerssen. Hoog gebouw, waarvan het zadeldak op zij door een trapgevel wordt afgesloten. Voorgevel van Naamse steen met naar boven lager wordende verdiepingen, gescheiden door profiellijsten en voorzien van kruis-, resp. tweelichtvensters van Naamse steen. Gevelsteen met 1690 en twee wapens. Links een rondbogige koetspoort en een ingang onder een ovaal bovenlicht. Dakkapel. In de uit mergel opgetrokken rechter zijgevel twee grote kraagstenen die tegenwoordig een balkon dragen. Achtergevel van vakwerk. Lagere achtervleugel langs het Wijkergrachtje, waarvan de mergelstenen gevel, XVI, tussendorpelvensters met accoladebogen bezit. Inwendig een balustertrap, XVII d.

Description
Refuge of Meerssen. Tall building, of which the gabled roof is closed off on the side by a stepped gable. Front facade of Namur stone with storeys becoming lower towards the top, separated by moulded strips and provided with cross windows and two-light windows respectively of Namur stone. Facade stone with 1690 and two coats of arms. On the left a round-arched carriage entrance and an entrance under an oval fanlight. Roof dormer window. In the right side facade erected in marl, two large corbel stones which currently support a balcony. Back facade of timber-framing. Lower back wing along the Wijkergrachtje, of which the marl-stone facade, 16th century, has intermediate pier windows with accolade arches. Internally a baluster staircase, second half of 17th century.
