Omschrijving
Voormalig Spaans of Brabants Gouvernement, XVI A, gewijzigd in 1670 en later, gedeeltelijk gerestaureerd in 1916/1917. De brede lijstgevel van het mergelstenen gebouw bezit rechts op de verdieping nog drie vensters in 16e eeuwse rondboogomlijstingen met traceringen, en het wapen van Habsburg, resp. het devies van Karel V. Links op de verdieping vier vensters, bekroond door gebogen frontons uit 1670. In de achtergevel zes accoladeboogvensters boven een dichtgemetselde rondboogarcade met balusterzuilen en de voormalige poortdoorgang met een gebeeldhouwd renaissance-fries uit 1545. Inwendig schoorsteenmantels, XVIIIc.

Description
Former Spanish or Brabantine Government, first half of 16th century, altered in 1670 and later, partially restored in 1916/1917. The broad cornice-topped facade of the marl-stone building retains on the right on the upper storey three windows in 16th-century round-arch surrounds with tracery, and the Habsburg coat of arms, respectively the devise of Charles V. On the left on the upper storey four windows, crowned by curved pediments from 1670. In the rear facade six accolade-arch windows above a bricked-up round-arch arcade with baluster columns and the former gateway passage with a sculptured renaissance frieze from 1545. Internally chimney-pieces, third quarter of 18th century.
