Omschrijving
Voormalige Refugie van Sint Jacob te Luik. Het gebouw heeft een voorgevel, XVII, met resten van geblokte vensterzijkanten en horizontale mergelbanden; overigens sterk gewijzigd. Een der oorspronkelijke vensters veranderd in een segmentboogvenster. Verder een ingang en vensters in hardsteen. Boven de kroonlijst van het linker gedeelte een afgeknotte topgevel met een hardstenen tweelichtvenster, geflankeerd door twee eenvoudige venstertjes. Aan de oude bestemming herinnert inwendig een steen uit 1627 met het wapen van Aegidius Lambrecht, ingemetseld in een gangmuur op de eerste verdieping. Lodewijk XV-trap.

Description
Former Refuge of Sint Jacob in Liège. The building has a front facade, 17th century, with remains of blocked window sides and horizontal marl bands; otherwise greatly altered. One of the original windows changed into a segmental arch window. Further an entrance and windows in ashlar. Above the cornice of the left section a truncated gable with an ashlar two-light window, flanked by two simple small windows. The old purpose is recalled internally by a stone from 1627 with the coat of arms of Aegidius Lambrecht, set into a passage wall on the first floor. Louis XV staircase.
