Omschrijving
HUIS, gebouwd in 1785 door Mathias Soiron voor zijn broers Andre en Guillaume, kanunnikken van het Sint Servaaskapittel. Statige voorgevel, voorzien van een middenrisaliet met jonische pilasters en een bekronend fronton. Hoge benedenbouw van Naamse steen met blokwerk, voorzien van rondboogvensters en een rondbogige koetspoort in het midden. Boven de poort een balkon met smeedijzeren hek op de gebeeldhouwde consoles. Balkondeuren in een rondboogomlijsting met fronton. Verder rechthoekige vensters. Onder de bovenste vensters van het middenrisaliet draperieen. Inwendig terzijde van de doorrit een trappenhuis met stucwerk en een gesneden trapleuning. De doorrit zelf met pilasters. Verschillende vertrekken met een rijke architectuur van stuc met pilasters, dessus-de-portes, schoorsteenmantels en plafonds in Lodewijk XVI-stijl.

Description
HOUSE, built in 1785 by Mathias Soiron for his brothers Andre and Guillaume, canons of the Sint Servaas Chapter. Stately front facade, provided with a central risalit with Ionic pilasters and a crowning pediment. High ground storey of Namur stone with blockwork, provided with round-arch windows and a round-arched carriage entrance in the middle. Above the entrance a balcony with wrought-iron railing on sculpted consoles. Balcony doors in a round-arch surround with pediment. Further rectangular windows. Below the upper windows of the central risalit draperies. Internally beside the entrance passage a staircase with stucco work and a carved stair rail. The entrance passage itself with pilasters. Various rooms with rich stucco architecture with pilasters, overdoor panels, chimney breasts and ceilings in Louis XVI style.
