The register's description

Simple, three-sided closed brick hall chapel from 1810, located at the foot of the dike, with on the north and northwest side an elevated churchyard. The chapel is bounded on the dike side by wrought-iron railwork on a brick wall with back, while on the churchyard side the same enclosure is arranged. The front facade has a cemented plinth and a centrally placed entrance section with wooden frame and entablature. Above this is set a grey, natural stone memorial stone with inscription ("ON THE 6th OF APRIL 1810 THE FIRST STONE WAS LAID BY JONKVROUWE ACG VERMEULEN"). To the left and right of this stone a pointed arch window with iron tracery is set. In the inswung gable top with natural stone coping plates and shoulders is a window in the form of a half moon. On the ridge of the gabled roof on the north side an octagonal, open small bell tower on similar underbuild with closing moulded list is placed; the slate spire (Maas coverage) is crowned by a wrought-iron cross with weathercock. The chapel has a running wooden gutter list and is only three bays deep. The three wall fields of the west and east side each have between the pilasters a pointed arch window with iron tracery. The closing wall on the three-sided south side is blind, the two adjacent wall fields have an identical pointed arch window. On the east, south and west sides the cemented low plinth is raised to more than head height. The gabled roof is covered with grey, old-Dutch tiles; in the middle on the west and east side a small roof dormer with grey slates is placed which is executed at the front with louvres.

In the church space spanned by a barrel vault, in the north a neo-classical organ gallery is arranged with pilasters on the left and right of the passage, while half-cut pilasters close off the gallery at the sides. Against the southwest closing wall stands a 17th-century, hexagonal oak pulpit body with brass lectern and twisted half-columns furnished with Ionic capitals; inside the body consists of secondarily used material, sounding board and backrest are absent. To the southeast closing wall a brass baptismal font is attached.

The chapel possesses monumental value based on the age which, in connection with the characteristic, modest dimensions and simple execution, are considered important cultural-historical characteristics of rural church building. The well-preserved exterior and interior condition of the chapel and the still-present interior pieces increase this cultural-historical value considerably.
