Omschrijving
Huis de Nienoord. In het ter plaatse van de borg Nienoord in 1884 opgetrokken landhuis zijn twee 17e eeuwse toegangspoortjes opgenomen, een gedateerd 1678 en een renovatum 1679. In de benedenkamer een rijkgestoken 18e eeuwse schouw en bijpassende kastenwand; in de andere vleugel is een tweede 18e eeuwse schouw opgesteld en de beschildering door Collenius van de wand van de Orangerie (of danszaal). De toegang tot het borgterrein wordt gevormd door een fraai gebeeldhouwde poort met zijvleugels gemerkt H.Bielefeld, 1708. Bij de poort twee kleine kanonnen, 1676. In het park rechthoekige koepel, restant van de orangerie; alle vier de wanden zijn als schelpengrot behandeld, 18e eeuw. Description
House De Nienoord. In the country house erected in 1884 on the site of the stronghold Nienoord two 17th-century entrance gatelets have been incorporated, one dated 1678 and one renovatum 1679. In the ground-floor room a richly built 18th-century fireplace and matching cabinet wall; in the other wing a second 18th-century fireplace has been installed and the painting by Collenius of the wall of the Orangery (or dance hall). The access to the castle grounds is formed by a finely sculptured gate with side wings marked H. Bielefeld, 1708. At the gate two small cannons, 1676. In the park rectangular pavilion, remnant of the orangery; all four walls are treated as a shell grotto, 18th century. Furthermore in the garden a garden statue; a plinth bearing a sundial; a coat-of-arms vase.
