Omschrijving
Weeshuispoort met een in natuursteen omlijste boogpoort in een vlak van baksteen. Boven de poort een natuurstenen memorietafel met inscriptie. Boven het vlak van baksteen een gebeeldhouwd natuurstenen sierstuk: een door weeskinderen opgehouden cartouche (1627) in een recht veld wordt geflankeerd door voluten en bekroond door eikels. Dolfijnen aan weerszijden naast de voluten.

Description
Orphanage gate with a stone-framed arched gateway in a plane of brick. Above the gate a stone memorial tablet with inscription. Above the plane of brick a carved stone ornamental piece: a cartouche (1627) held up by orphan children in a straight field is flanked by volutes and crowned by acorns. Dolphins on either side next to the volutes.
