Typische staal van deftige bouwtrant uit die tijd met gepleisterde velden in pilasters, die de gevel in vier traveeën delen, waarin telkens een groot zesruitsvenster.
Verhoogde middenpartij waarin wapens Popma-Jaersma.

Widow's almshouse of Vrouck van Popma, founded 1664, rebuilt 1864.
Typical example of dignified building style of that period with plastered panels in pilasters, which divide the facade into four bays, each with a large six-pane window.
