Omschrijving
Ned. Herv. KERK. (St. Joris). Laat-gotische dorpskerk met 15e eeuws koor, pseudobasilicaal schip (ca.1500) en zeer mooie romaanse toren uit de twaalfde eeuw met decoratie van lisenen en boogfriezen. De kerk, in 1868 in neogotische trant geheel verbouwd, werd in de vijftiger jaren van deze eeuw in haar oorspronkelijke staat teruggebracht, nadat de toren reeds in 1938 hersteld was. Inventaris: Priesterzerk in het koor (1558). Eenklaviers orgel, in 1777 door onbekende orgelbouwer gemaakt. Klokkenstoel met gelui van drie klokken, waarvan één van F. Simon, 1637, diam. 110,9 cm., één van P. Seest, 1765, diam. 39 cm. en een moderne klok. Opgesteld in de torenhal gescheurde klok van H. ter Horst, 1646, diam. 135 cm. Mechanisch smeedijzeren torenuurwerk J. Sprakel, 1700, met inscriptie: JOAN SPRAKEL FECIT GOOR ANNO 1700.

Description
Reformed Church (St. Joris). Late Gothic village church with 15th-century choir, pseudo-basilical nave (circa 1500) and very beautiful Romanesque tower from the twelfth century with decoration of pilaster strips and arch friezes. The church, completely rebuilt in neogothic manner in 1868, was restored to its original state in the nineteen-fifties, after the tower had already been restored in 1938. Inventory: Priest's tomb in the choir (1558). Single-manual organ, made in 1777 by unknown organ builder. Bell frame with carillon of three bells, one by F. Simon, 1637, diameter 110.9 cm., one by P. Seest, 1765, diameter 39 cm. and a modern bell. Placed in the tower room cracked bell by H. ter Horst, 1646, diameter 135 cm. Mechanical wrought-iron tower clock J.
