In schoon metselwerk opgetrokken, vermoedelijk 16e eeuws pand - voorhuis met vast achterhuis - met verdieping onder met rode Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met schild (voor) en tegen puntgevel met vlechtingen (achter).
De gepleisterde voorgevel (XIX A) met horizontale getrokken voegen heeft een door een gekorniste kroonlijst met tandlijst afgesloten winkelpui met in het midden een paneeldeur met snijlicht, die aan weerszijden gekoppeld is aan een 8-ruits schuifraam; een cordonlijst en twee getoogde vensters met 6-ruits schuiframen en geprofileerde stucwerkomlijsting op de verdieping, en is afgesloten door een kroonlijst met in het fries twee ronde vensters en erboven een dakkapel met fronton en 4-ruits schuifraam.
In de achtergevel twee deuren met 2-ruits bovenlicht, twee 6-ruits schuiframen op de verdieping en een kruisvenster met onder luiken in de geveltop; staafankers. Het pand is door twee bogen over de tussenliggende steeg verbonden met Vughterstraat 254-256.
Inwendig voorhuis: gedeeltelijk moer- en kinderbinten balklagen; houten binnenpui (XIX A); kap met schaarspant met balk. Inwendig achterhuis: kelder met tongewelf; moer- en kinderbinten balklaag met ojief-sleutelstukken; kap met eiken jukken, grenen dekbalken en schaarspanten met balk.

Description
Erected in fine brickwork, presumably 16th-century property - front house with attached rear house - with storey underneath covered with red Dutch tiles hipped roof with gable (front) and against point gable with interlacing (rear).
The plastered front facade (XIX A) with horizontal struck joints has a shop front closed off by a corniced cornice with dart moulding with in the middle a panel door with snib light, which is coupled on either side to an 8-pane sash window; a string course and two relieved windows with 6-pane sash windows and moulded stucco frame on the storey, and is closed off by a cornice with in the frieze two round windows and above it a roof dormer with pediment and 4-pane sash window.
In the rear facade two doors with 2-pane fanlight, two 6-pane sash windows on the storey and a cross window with shutters below in the gable top; rod anchors. The property is connected to Vughterstraat 254-256 by two arches over the intervening alley.
Internally front house: partially main beam and subsidiary beam layers; wooden inner frame (XIX A); roof with collar truss with beam. Internally rear house: cellar with barrel vault; main beam and subsidiary beam layer with ogee keystone pieces; roof with oak collar-tie beams, pine collar beams and collar trusses with beam.
