In schoon metselwerk opgetrokken, in oorsprong vermoedelijk 16e eeuws pand - voorhuis met vast achterhuis - met verdieping onder met rode Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met wolfeind (voor) en tegen gepleisterde tuitgevel (achter).
De voorgevel is op de begane grond gepleisterd, heeft een in 1971 aangebrachte winkelpui in vroeg 19e eeuwse stijl - in het midden een dubbele paneeldeur met bovenlicht en aan weerszijden gekoppeld aan 8-ruits raam - op de verdieping twee 6-ruits en op zolderhoogte twee 4-ruits schuiframen, en is afgesloten met een forse, geprofileerde kroonlijst.
In de achtergevel deur met bovenlicht, 6-ruits ramen en 4-ruits raam in geveltop; staafankers. Het pand is door twee bogen over de tussenliggende steeg verbonden met Vughterstraat 258. Inwendig: kelder met tongewelf onder achterhuis; enkelvoudige balklagen; eiken dekbalkjukken met schaarspanten met balk.

Description
Erected in fine brickwork, originally presumably 16th-century property - front house with attached rear house - with storey underneath covered with red Dutch tiles gabled roof with half-hipped roof (front) and against plastered spout gable (rear).
The front facade is plastered on the ground floor, has a shop front in early 19th-century style applied in 1971 - in the middle a double panel door with fanlight and on either side coupled to an 8-pane window - on the storey two 6-pane and at attic height two 4-pane sash windows, and is closed off with a substantial, moulded cornice.
In the rear facade door with fanlight, 6-pane windows and 4-pane window in gable top; rod anchors. The property is connected to Vughterstraat 258 by two arches over the intervening alley. Internally: cellar with barrel vault under rear house; single beam layers; oak collar-tie beams with collar trusses with beam.
