Omschrijving
Uit 1888 daterend, in neo-renaissance stijl opgetrokken, voormalig woonhuis van de beeldhouwer H.van der Geld. In schoon metselwerk opgetrokken pand met verdieping onder met leien gedekt zadeldak (dwarskap) voor en omlopend schilddak achter, aan de westzijde tegen trapgevel; iets risalerende oostelijke gevelhelft onder insteekkap tegen trapgevel.
Voorgevel voorzien van plint, banden, lijsten en diamantkoppen in hardsteen; gesneden paneeldeur met smeedijzeren deurijzers en gedeeld bovenlicht; T-ramen in rondgesloten (b.g.) en getoogde (verd.) vensternissen; op de begane grond in de boogvelden boven de vensters gebeeldhouwde taferelen uit het middeleeuwse bouwbedrijf en boven de deur eikeloof met daaronder de tekst: Arbeyd sere voert tot eere.

Description
Dating from 1888, erected in neo-Renaissance style, former residence of sculptor H. van der Geld. Property erected in fine brickwork with storey under a gabled roof covered with slates (cross-gable) in front and surrounding hipped roof at rear, on the west side against a stepped gable; slightly projecting eastern elevation half under a hipped dormer against a stepped gable.
Front elevation provided with plinth, bands, mouldings and diamond heads in stone; cut panel door with wrought-iron door furniture and divided fanlight; T-frames in round-arched (ground floor) and arched (storey) window openings; on the ground floor in the arch fields above the windows sculptured scenes from medieval building craft and above the door oakleaf with below the text: Labour justly leads to honour.
